Our Mission Healing Field Foundation®, creators of the Healing Field® and Field of Honor™ programs, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable foundation. We commit to bring patriotism, civic education and issue awareness to American and International communities at a grass roots level. Our programs are catalysts to volunteerism, education, awareness, unification, fundraising, and healing. It is our mission to provide volunteer, community host organizations with resources, guidance and branding through our established network and legacy of connecting reputable service organizations, local businesses and charities for the purpose of empowering individuals to make a better world one community at a time. Our foremost priority is to provide various organizations, such as non-profit organizations and charities with a means to educate the public on the needs of the community and fund those needs through community involved and supported patriotic fundraising events. Experience and Benefits: Over the years Healing Field Foundation has been nationally recognized in virtually every manor of television and radio network, has the endorsement and support as a non-profit public charity of many nationally known individuals, veterans groups, service organizations and personalities and has the local and national sponsorship of many nationally recognized, charity-minded companies. Healing Field has helped to raise over 1.2 million dollars for various charitable causes around the nation. As a result, over the past 9 years locally hosted Healing Field flag displays have been the recipients of more than $1,000,000 worth of media coverage for its programs, methods, trademarks and trade dress. As a 501 (c)3 public charity, Healing Field Foundation commits to maintaining and insuring integrity and process using the Healing Field rather by name or program re-trade dress. Our professional consultants bring to the program great experience and shared ideas from nearly 300 successful host communities and we work closely with media and national sponsors to help each of our host communities to succeed and pass all scrutiny.  About the program: These fields are displayed for the purpose of promoting and supporting charitable causes in making the flag of the United States of America available for patriotic, educational and charitable purposes.    On the one-year anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy a symbolic field spontaneously emerged.  Paul Swenson, founder and creator saw the potential of the Healing Field memorial event as a way to help America heal. On the first field in 2002 Paul committed his resources and energy to forming a foundation that would assist other communities to experience the amazing healing and hopeful effects of uniting for this great purpose. Read Paul's Story. This event grew into today's Healing Field and Field of Honor programs.  They are a symbol of freedom, liberty, honor and respect for the ideals and principles symbolized by the flag of the United States of America.     From Patriot Day to Veterans Day to declaring your own day to honor those currently serving in the armed forces, Healing Field and Field of Honor flag displays are making a difference all across this land.   More uses and applications for a flag field event are being adopted each year. The themes of the fields differ and promote healing after a local or national disaster, honor military and first responders, and raise awareness for important social issues like: human rights, hunger, disease, literacy, domestic violence and child abuse.   Each community customizes the program to meet the specific needs of their individual communities. Recently, the scope and reach of the Foundation has grown to include outreach programs to further support to our troops and civic education.   Together we can make a better America… one community at a time.    Accountable Healing Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit public charity, (IRS approval letter) established to assist other charities, causes and community awareness issues in making their message and needs known through patriotic displays of flags and memorials. Strict compliance with non profit, non political non protest principals is the legacy and guarantee of any approved & licensed Healing Field or Field of Honor event. Healing Field Foundation (HFF) owes its success and even its existence to our partners and stakeholders. These include staff, board members, donors, partners, volunteers, funding recipients and more. HFF takes this trust seriously, but knows that trust must be earned.
