Affiliate Partnership Program

Service Clubs & Affiliate Partnership Program

The Healing Field and Field of Honor programs of Colonial Flag Foundation have been successful due to the involvement, commitment and national partnership of select organizations and service clubs who have on a national level, become affiliate partners with CFF.  These organizations were invited and approved do to their legacy of integrity and high patriotic standard and who have proven themselves to be strong supporters in their communities with nod discrimination and a uniting effort for everyone.

An affiliate partnership is approved through mutual agreement and a statement of support and affiliation from the national level of the organization.  This resolution by the national office must then be communicated and the hosting of a CFF flag program is then encouraged for all members.   Colonial Flag Foundation will give national recognition to the organization as an affiliate service organization and the affiliate will begin to receive matching grant money for any Healing Field or Honor Field event coordinated and hosted by any of their associated chapters, clubs or units. The affiliate's recipient foundation, program or charity will also be promoted as an endorsed and approved recipient of Healing Field funds for other host communities and the media.  These funds will be used to support designated pre-approved charities and/or foundations agreed upon by the affiliate organization and the Colonial Flag Foundation. Before the Healing Field and Field of Honor programs were made public,  an offer was made to The National Exchange Club service organization and their foundation.  For each flag placed on a Healing Field or Honor Field by any group for a memorial, $1 per flag would be donated to their foundation for the prevention of child abuse.  The only request was that The National Exchange Club adopt the Healing Field flag display program as one of their Americanism programs.

During the first year, six Healing Fields were displayed in the country and $10,000 was donated the NEC Foundation.  The second year of the program, 2004 saw 46 Healing Fields of various sizes on a variety of patriotic days and $41,000 was donated to the NEC Foundation for 2004 and 2005 has yet to be completed.  These service clubs also raised awareness for their cause, helped their community unite and heal, and raised thousands of dollars locally through event sponsorships and flag sales.

How to qualify for the Community Service Partnership Program
$1 per flag to be donated to the your service organization or charity of choice.
For each flag flown on a sanctioned Healing Field or Honor Field flag memorial hosted or coordinated by your approved service partner or membership organization, the Colonial Flag Foundation's national sponsor fund will donate $1 to the foundation pre-determined by your organization.

Getting it Started
If your organization would like to qualify as a Community Service Partner with the National Healing Field movement and receive $1 per flag for all flags flown on a Field hosted or steered by your organization contact the Colonial Flag Foundation Headquarters and an application will be sent to you.

Remember that each local patriotic flag memorial field also raises funds, and those funds must be donated to local charities and causes as outlined in the Colonial Flag Foundation registration application.  This is a community event and uniting experience that actually raises awareness as-well-as money.  It is a proven success over the years and the program is now available to the American Legion.  Contact us at info@healingfield.org or call the CFF headquarters toll free at 866-375-3524.
