For the past year Colonial Flag Foundation (CFF) has provided video productions from many of our Healing Field cities to Starfish TV for airing on their amazing network created for non-profits and charities. 2008 has taken this relationship to a new level. www.starfishtv.org
Executives at Starfish TV have presented us with an unbelievable opportunity. To produce a regularly scheduled program called “The Healing Field Tour”. Video productions submitted by CFF to Starfish TV Network will be included in the program lineup to air on DISH Network, Comcast on Demand and future affiliates as they are added. The program will take viewers to host cities across America and around the world as they plan, fundraise, coordinate and execute their Healing Field event.
If your event has been selected as a national broadcast event through the Starfish TV network partnership you will be able to take advantage of a great opportunity to let the nation see your event and hear your message. It is also a great added value to your sponsors and your recipient charity.
If you choose to accept the National Broadcast Event offer you will want to follow these guidelines.
- Call your CFF consultant immediately and let us know that you want to be included in the upcoming program schedule. 866-375-3524
- Film your Event from planning to completion as directed in the content and productions guilelines that will be provided to your video production representative. You should not have to pay for this service. Many professionals or upcoming film students would value the opportunity to claim that one of their productions has been broadcast on a national network. Credits at the end of the production will recognize them as the producers and links can be placed on your custom web page at www.healingfield.org
- If you must pay for this service we have many suggestions for sponsorship programs to cover the costs. We have professional referrals and services available as well.
- Include your video representative on your committee to assure that all your event planning and programs are included in your final production.
- Be sure to follow the specificatons for quality and technical guidelines for content.
- Produce your B-Roll (raw footage) into a 30 minute production as oulined in the guidelines provided.
- Submit your completed production with a letter of release to CFF
Promotion
- Your web page on the Healing Field web site will include the Starfish logo and statement that your event is a nationally broadcast production on Starfish TV Network
- Include this information in your printed media and event promotion.
- Announce this to all your volunteers and during presentations to the community.
Sponsorship Program
- Offer your top sponsorships the opportunity to have a representative on your committee. Include their selected spokesperson in one of the on field interviews for the production. This is called Cause Marketing and the value of this kind of marketing to the sponsor is well over a million dollars.
- Show the sponsor’s banner in your filming of the field.
- Your sponsor will want to have their employees involved in the volunteer effort of the event and they can also be captured in team wear working side by side with other volunteers.
- These employees may also be included in the interviews on your production.
- Credits at the end of your production can also recognize your major sponsors and supporters.
One group announced this to their first potential sponsor and they immediately signed all five local convenience store locations to the top level sponsorship. Who wouldn’t?
