Our Mission The American Veterans Flagpoles & Flag Company was established in Ventura, CA in March of 2009. Our mission is to help veterans who find themselves having a very difficult time during this economic period. Our US veterans not only need financial assistance but they need to regain their sense of self and pride in their country. Being able to again take part in something meaningful and profound allows our veterans to have a say in their own welfare while contributing to their country once again. THE PROGRAM
American Veterans Flagpoles & Flag Company is making it possible for area business owners and individuals to participate by signing up for the flag raising and lowering program.
If a business has a flag pole a veteran will come twice a day to raise and lower the flag. The contributions a business makes for the fulfillment of this service is 100% tax deductable through the fiscal trust service provided by Colonial Flag Foundation, a 501(c) (3) public charity.
Statistics show that US veterans make up 25% of the homeless population in California. We work with local Veterans Services to meet and identify the needs of our veterans in our community.
In some areas other service organizations such as Boy and Girl Scouts may be asked to raise and lower the flags as well.

In addition to sponsoring the Veteran’s flag rotation program American Veteran’s Flagpole & Flag Company will donate a portion of all proceeds from the sales of flagpoles and flags to the County of Ventura and Santa Barbara Veterans Services.
