Broomfield, CO

Broomfield, CO will be the host city to a 2005 Patriot Day Healing Field of approximately 5,000 flags. These 3 x 5’ flags will stand 8 feet tall in perfect rows and columns across a field of green. 3,000 of the flags will stand in honor of a life lost in the terrorist attacks on September 11th 2001. This living memorial will fly as a patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans.

A Soldier’s Coalition Healing Field will hold the remaining flags with one flag and yellow ribbon for each service man and woman who has given their life in the fight against terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Healing Field display will be located adjacent to the Broomfield Library at 3 Community Park Road, Broomfield. A breathtaking display of patriotism and unity, this community project is free to all who wish to visit or participate in the flag installation ceremony. On September 11th volunteers from across Colorado are welcome to heal together from the heartache of a nation attacked by placing a flag in the Healing Field and joining us in our Official Opening Ceremony.

SPONSOR IT, TAKE IT HOME AND FLY IT PROUDLY

The Healing Field in Broomfield will benefit a permanent 9/11 Memorial to be built for the 5th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks. These flags need your sponsorship! You can sponsor any flag that flies proudly in the Healing Field and on September 18 you can take your flag home and continue your tribute to honor by flying these colors. Each 3’ x 5’ flag comes with an 8’ pole and the rebar to post it in your lawn. (If you select to have your flag shipped, you will only receive the flag.)
