Memphis TN will be the host city to a 2006 Patriot Day Healing Field of almost 3000 flags.  These 3x5' flags will stand 8 foot tall in perfect rows and columns across a field of green.  This living memorial will fly as a patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans. 

Each flag will be displayed with one flag and yellow ribbon for each service man or woman who has given their life in the fight against terrorism since 9/11/01.

The Healing Field display will be located at Agricenter International, 7777 Walnut Grove Rd., Memphis. A breathtaking display of patriotism and unity, this community project is free to all who wish to participate and heal together from the heartache of a nation attacked. Everyone is invited to participate in this community event from September 8-17, 2006 in Memphis, TN.  Bring a camera and your family.  Help us honor, remember and heal. 

SPONSOR IT, OWN IT, TAKE IT HOME AND FLY IT PROUDLY

The patriotic event is hosted by the Exchange Clubs of Greater Shelby County. These flags need your sponsorship. You can sponsor a flag and on September 17th you can take your flag home to continue your tribute and honor to our great country. Each 3'x5' flag comes with and eight foot pole and the rebar to post it in your lawn.

Volunteer: volunteers from the community are invited to show up on the evening of September 8, 2006 and help assemble the flags and place them on the field. If you or your organization would like to be a part of this moving event contact:
