Where flags in gentle breezes wave
In memory of these little ones
Who no longer run and play
Hear their cries upon the wind
As someone reads their names
And tell the tender age at which
They ceased to play young children’s games
Through no fault of their own they lived
With daily pain and many fears
With no one there to rescue them
To hold them close and dry their tears
Walk softly through the Healing Fields
Say a pray for the children gone
And when you leave take home with you
New love and patience for your own
