In memory of our heroes ... Ottawa will be the host city to a 2007 Field of Honor of 600 US flags.  These 3x5' flags will stand 8 foot tall in perfect rows and columns across a field of green.  The flags will fly as a patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans.  Everyone is invited to participate in this community event from November 5-11, 2007.  Bring a camera and your family.  Help us honor, remember and heal.  Come to Ottawa, Kansas to celebrate Veterans Day and honor our Veterans. Starting November 5, 2007 we will open festivities with the Field of Honor.  Then on November 10 we will have our parade, WWII and Civil War re-enactments and much more to come. Join the celebration and let's Honor our Veterans.
