Provo, UT.  A Soldier's Healing Field ®  Flag Memorial

July 1-4, 2005                                 At Farrer Middle School

Hosted By the
the Utah Valley Exchange Club

Imagine a sea of red white and blue this Independance Day.  Hundreds of American flags will stand eight foot tall in perfect rows and columns across a field of green at the Farrer Middle School located at 700 East Center Street in Provo. The visual effect will be one of infinity. The sacrifice and memory becomes real and tangible when you see this breathtaking display in honor of soldiers who have served and sacrificed to keep America free. These young men and women have given their lives in the line of duty and met the call to arms with courage.

This field honors all service men and women past and present who have served and continue to serve, that our land remains free. This breathtaking display will be free to the public on Independance Day weekend.  Bring a camera and your family. Join us as we honor, remember, and heal.

The event will begin at 3:30 pm on Friday July 1st with the "Assembly of the Field."  Volunteers from the community are invited to show up at the Farrer Middle School and help assemble the flags and place them on the field. The field will be open from July 1-4, 2005.  We will culminate the Soldier's Field with a high level, patriotic ceremony beginning with the Freedom Blast Parade on July 4, 2005.  If you or your organization would like to be a part of this moving event, contact the Chairman listed below.
