Honoring Korean War Veterans
Memory Lane Memorial park will host a Healing Field of Honor on Memorial Day weekend.
On May 22-25, 2009 visitors and volunteers from the surrounding communities will experience an amazing display of patriotism including a 133 large U.S. flags atop 8ft poles in perfect rows
on a field of green.
This living display of heroism will fly as a temporary patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans, and will honor Korean War veterans who have served to preserve our security and freedom.
Please join us and walk this Healing Field of Honor. This is the perfect opportunity for all of us to unite as a community and to remember and honor our local and national heroes.
